Since it sounds like you are working with green screen mode, I would look at the
various menu files (they are all in AMFLIBx and start with "MN"). For some
reason, I can't access the system right now, but I believe the one you want is
"MNTXFILE" (or something along those lines). I had to create a security
worksheet for each user showing what menu options each user had and what was
available in order to comply with one of the numerous SARBOX auditor requests.
It's been a while since I created that - I pulled it into Excel with the iSeries
Access interface that (usually) autoinstalls when you put Client Access on a
system with Office loaded, and created a pretty slick spreadsheet for them.
If you want more detail, you can email me directly, and when I can get back in
the system I'll pull the exact information for you, if that's what you want.

Kevin,
I don't have access to the application. Just writing programs to extract
what options a specific user (or all users) have to a specific menu (or all
menus).

One other suggestion regarding those files. Bring those files into Power
Link/IDF using Integrator. It's easier to data-mine them and get
information, and create relationships and code files over specific
fields.
It is much easier that way to get listings and look at authorization and
access.

Really just looking for a file that lists all menus. But am open to
suggestions. What I'm trying to do is to list all available options
that a
certain user is authorized to by menu, or for all menus if no menu is
specified
in the input parms. Do you have a suggestion as to how I can
accomplish?
Warmest Regards,
Richard Reeve

Do you mean a listing of all the menu options? Like I301 being I/M
Transaction
Entry? (IM, option 3, then option 1). That is available as a file.
Sent from my iPhone, sorry about the typos!
