Tom--- You are correct that you can create a program that will call and
apply the XA report overrides that are setup for custom reports.

One idea would be to have a parameter on the host report screen to prompt
for the desired outputq. You could then use ovrprtf or something similar
to place the report where the user wants it. Also, I think I saw some
E:Info article about using XA printer override maintenance for custom host
prints, but I am not sure how supported that method is or if I really did
see it.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Integrator Host Reports

Good afternoon.

I have several users that use Host Reports and use the email feature.
They may or may not use this feature on a regular basis. When they have
the report sent via email the report also prints, which somewhat defeats
the purpose. I have many other users that require it to print.

Infor's response is to have it go to a output queue that does not print
and to have the users that want it to print to move it to a printer. I do
not agree with this approach as that requires the user to know to move the
report. When you have users that have access to a multitude of reports it
is hard to remember which reports they may need to manually move.

Has anyone found a way around this limitation with Host Reports?

Thank you,
Candy Hein
