Guy, not to come across as condescending, but I would suggest you contract a consulting party familiar with MDCC or MES to help you through the various set ups. Yes, you can backflush by operation where used from a locations associated with the facility. But, this is a project, not a question.

My opinion you will spin wheels, time and $$ and still miss an important integral part of setting up for shop floor control.

Thank you, Bob, Nick, Rusty, Dave for your replies.

I found a PDF manual out on the network drive, Paperless Mapics. I hope this is the right one.

After reading the manual I suggested to my users that they consider back flushing. They replied "Looks like what we want to do. We've never done it here before. How do we set it up?"

DOOP! Now I need to train my users on something I don't know how to do...

The manual talks about "Sequence 20 of Table 10:"... Anyone know where to matain "Table 10"?

Regards,

Guy
