I don't know what Kevin is referring to, but I know that we had a problem with people TW'ing uncontrolled floor stock items to ST01, which was pretty useless since it doesn't get relieved. We had managers on the floor that just didn't quite understand uncontrolled floor stock, in spite of training.
Easy check - do a query over SLQNTY, joining to ITEMBL, and check SLQNTY's LLOCN = "ST01", and check for ITEMBL's FLSTK = "U".
