To all: source code has not been "taken away". All customers that have a license for source code can still access source code. However, the existing download method provided a "back door" method for customers to download source without licensing it.

The back door has been closed, but the door remains wide open for authorized customers.

I believe the reason for this is clear - source code is Infor property. It is not free.

For any customer that has gotten used to back door source, we are currently revising source code access policies. For the moment, we are not licensing source to customers not already licensed to it.

If this represents a hardship, please monitor the XA Community on Infor 365. We are working to provide licensed access for customers who may get in a bind due to this situation.

I have learned that source code downloads have been taken off of the
Infor365 website. I wanted to get the latest source code for the
inventory tags print file and found that Infor took the source code
download off of their site. This is bad news for any of us that have
modified code and are trying to put PTFs on our systems. I don't
remember receiving any notification that they were doing this. If any of
you are bothered by this, give Infor a holler so that they might put it
back up.

Thanks,

Hey Kevin

I just went to the software downloads area of XA and it's still there. So
maybe something specific to your account setup on Infor365 On-line?
But anyway, my access is still there.

Access to the source is based on the entitlements for your account. If you purchased source code, you are entitled to download source from the support site.

Do those of you who still have access to source code pay a ALF every
year? We paid a one time fee for source in the 90s, but I have never
heard of an ALF.
