Good luck! I tried to get this to work for over 1 year. I'm also
interested if anyone knows the solution.
What is supposed to happen is that the unit cost defaults are available to
the rules set. Within the rules set you select which costs under which
conditions roll up. At least that is what is supposed to happen. We found
that the rollup was affected by a number of "undocumented features".

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Unit Cost on MO
XA R6 w/ Cameleon
Happy almost-Friday, listers!
Does anyone know how the Unit Cost on the MO header gets its value when
Cameleon is in play?
Choices are made in COM, MO is created through 'Customer Demand' object.
We release and pick MO, complete it with no changes to the as-selected BOM,
and we get an actual material cost of 773.87 and a unit cost of 174.80.
Any insight is appreciated.
THANKS!
