We are using SalesTax II and LaserBridge+ with IFM. Our installation
was a little rocky at first due to IFM but the tech support staff was
very responsive and had us up and running in just a few weeks. We
implemented in a test environment first to work the bugs and then the
move to production went very smooth.

Joe, Independent Systems (as Brad indicated) has a great sales tax
package.
The use tax piece has not been completed for IFM but they are currently
in
negotiations to finish writing it for one of my clients. You'll find
that
it's very reasonably priced compared to Vertex.
