Julie,

You should check out Global Software's Spreadsheet Server. They have
preconfigured versions for various ERP packages including XA. A couple
of users from this list had mentioned it earlier this year and after
doing some research, we selected it for our organization. Our training
is set for the end of May so I have no personal experience with it yet
but I selected it because it is a direct add in to Excel with ODBC
connection to the XA data. It does not require loading a SQL server and
refreshing the data whenever you want reports with current data from XA.
One less step in the process and less skill set I need to have; we
already have Oracle based applications that can test my patience after
being so spoiled for 30 years with the DB2/400 database.
