You could also use DB2 WebQuery as a counter to the iSeries (or System-I or whatever version of the venerable AS/400 you are running) about it being "obsolete". The stuff in V6 REALLY boosts the GUI capabilities!

But, unfortunately, it sounds like you may be up against a made-up-mind..... :(
