Manufacturing Lead times

Is anyone using a program --Or is it possible in Mapics to have Orders
automatically calculate manufacturing due date (ship date) based on
manufacturing lead time?

All of our items have different manufacturing lead times--2 weeks to 14
weeks and can be on the same order. We would like to be able to key the
lead times for the items and have customer service enter the order and
each item gets the ship date calculated based on the lead time.
Currently, they are looking up lead times (that we have stored
elsewhere-not in item balance) and calculating the ship date.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
