"I thought I read recently were Mapics had created a command that would
allow the ability to upload via offline files without using the offline
file import program. It was more simaliar to something they use in COM.
Does anyone know anything about this? "

Submission of an inventory offline transaction batch. A new Application
Programming Interface command has been added - OLIMTRN.
note: Link to documentation for using the OLIMTRN command (link).
note: After calling the OLIMTRN command, your program can call the
PRTIMTXR command to print the transaction register.
note: When this enhancement was originally delivered, the newly created IM
offline transaction batch was left in 'Suspended' status, which would
require manual intervention to set the status to 'Closed' before the batch
could be processed by the PRTIMTXR command. APAR 82124 was opened to
correct this oversight. A new parameter -- Close/Suspend batch (BCHSLT)
-- has been added to the OLIMTRN command, allowing you to set the batch
to Closed status. SH82066 has been updated to incorporate this change. If
the BCHSLT parameter does not function properly because you had downloaded
SH82066 before this function was added, please download SH82066 again and
reapply.
fix: Download and apply SH82066. This fix must be permanently applied.
