subject: [MAPICS-L] Going to V6R1

Has anyone looked at what is going to be required to convert MAPICS to run
under V6R1 I5/OS? I just ran the ANZOBJCNV & it is well over 15K objects
wont convert!! Sounds like an easy fix ;-)

We are on XA6, I did submit the question to Infor to see if they have a
plan.

Anyone in a make-to-order environment running R6 (and IFM) that could share with me the benefits of going to R7 (or just replacing MAPICS entirely).

Thanks

Yes, I just ran too. All Mapics objects are missing observability.
Everything is going to have to be recompiled. I notice that most objects
have not been recompiled since V3R6 which is the last time Mapics had to
go through this exercise. Going to be a huge job I am sure. Doubt Mapics
has any plans yet for this in the works.

We are also no IFM--and a combo of MTO and MTS.
