We run it manually for labor in the morning after all the maintenance is
done, but we also run it in an automated fashion using ROBOT at various
times during the day. We run it for inventory alone every hour during the
day and 2nd shift, for example, using ROBOT.

We would like to automate the select and edit process of PMC so that
transactions are posted faster than the next day. I am curious about what
others may have done. We have PaperLess and PMC and currently run the
select and edit process manually each morning. I am thinking that ideally,
we would like to post these transactions as soon as a transaction set is
complete. Another idea is to wait thirty minutes or an hour after shift
end, then run the process for the shift. We are currently running two
shifts, the second shift ending at 2:30am. We have some nightly processes
running between 3:30am and 5:30am, including the nightly backup of the
MAPICS files
