The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Use the Import Export Wizard that comes with SQL Server 2000.
1. First Create a DSN Connection on the SQL Server box to the SQL Server
2. You can create a database in SQL Server, Right Click on the database
and select Import Data
3. In the Source page, Select the AS400 library as the source and in the
target select sql server
4. In the next screen, select the files to be copied over and it follow
the rest of the wizard to copy over.
If you have SQL 2005 look at this link

Subject: [MAPICS-L] MAPCICS AS400 DB2 database to Sequel Server 2000
7/23/07
To all:
I have a customer that has data on a no longer used AS400 with MAPICS
XA.
The want to move this MAPICS data, table for table, column for column to
Sequel Server 2000. Does anyone know of a software that would read the
AS400 DB2 table, create the Sequel Server table with the MAPICS columns
names and then create the rows?
In advance, thanks
Mike
