FRx is a very good product. Very Excel-like (it's a Microsoft product).

Marc,

I was impressed with FRx, and have a request in to acquire it for our
company. Unfortunately, I haven't received budget yet, but it sure looked
good at the conference!

AM [MAPICS-L] Financial Reporting

Are there any good tools, with minimal configuration requirements, that
can be used for financial reporting out of Mapics? We are currently
running AM and most of our reporting is done EIE (Everything in Excel) or
with AS/400 query and reports.

Before we head down the path of putting this into our data warehouse we
are looking for some relatively straight forward commercial packages.

The most immediate need is having a tool that will allow us to quickly
generate income statements that we can do period (Year over Year, Month
over Month, same period last year vs this year) style comparison. I
anticipate we would need to map GL accounts but I am hoping there is some
canned reporting.

Thanks in advance,
