Tim,

Pete Olshavski (a MAPICS programming/system consultant) wrote us a "Super
Consolidated BOM" cross reference program that builds a file with every
active component in our product structures, showing the component, the
parent of the component, level used, and the ultimate end item (plus a
bunch of other stuff, like cost, vendor#, etc). We determine if it's an
active part by the ultimate end item. But that file has been a totally
superb addition to our MAPICS suite! It's used extensively here.

If you are interested in this, I'd contact Pete. I know he monitors this
thread, he might be able to help you.

Good Morning -

Does anyone have RPG/LE code to share that could take a list of components
and output a 'where-used' database that includes the usage per assembly?

We are at MAPICS XA release 5.5.

Thanks,
