I am at just about the same level with the same apps as you, minus
integrator. I have been searching for more information and have not had
much success. Even though I'm in a large market area (Chicago), it seems
that we are more advanced with XA than most in the area. Our local user
group hasn't been active for the last 3 years. Other than our affiliate,
there isn't much information to be found. I recently wrote to Infor
about this after searching their site and have been told that they are
planning on an update which will supply more information.

It seems that we are at a bigger disadvantage because of the lack of
integrator. Our upgrade was purchased just before I started here. I have
inquired about Integrator, but Infor is asking more for Integrator than
the rest of the Essentials package cost our company. There is no way
that I can get the company to go for that. I now have some departments,
such as purchasing, that are using PowerLink only, and some, like
customer service that do not use it because of the Pick, Pack Ship
functionality missing. I have been telling my users that Infor was
planning on adding that and the inventory transactions in the 4th
quarter of 2006. Now whenever I ask about these features I am told that
no one knows. At this point I have no way of planning without more
information from Infor.

Since you have integrator, I would suggest trying to attend that user
meeting that is being set up. Or at the very least try to get the
feedback from that meeting. That sounds like it's a good step towards
more communication with other newer release customers and Infor.

I am at release 7 PTF level 5132 and client level 40.52. We have several
Infor client applications CSM, PM, EPDM, PDM +, OBPM, Integrator



We are looking at trying to investigate what strategy we should use for
development of Infor enhancements

and new development outside of Infor.



Could I hear what strategies have been adopted by Infor users and what
products are you using and why?



Any and all suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
