Greg,

Are you running an uncontrolled warehouse? I think this is file is only
used for discreet allocations which can only be done in a controlled
warehouse. This would explain the absence of records.

You don't need Batch Lot Control, which is a different function associated
with a controlled warehouse.

Hi Greg
I am pretty sure the reason your SLALLO file is empty is because you have
not turned on Batch Lot Control. This is all controlled by a setting on
the
warehouse master file and item master file. We just upgraded from XA 4 to
XA7 last year so I am pretty sure that XA 4 will handle this. I can give
you
more specific information on batch lot control if you need it. Just let me
