Chris,
We deployed approximately 60 users over a T-1 line connected to a Microsoft
terminal server farm. The connection and response time of Power-Link was
essentially the same as those who were on the local network with the host
iSeries. We also used the terminal servers to establish green screen
sessions. We had no problems with this connection. The functionality of
being able to download out of Power-Link to Excel on the local machine (not
the terminal server) worked with no problems. The terminal servers we used
were powerful machines with dual processors, lots of RAM (8GB as I remember)
and plenty of disk space. We employed a virtual server with load balancing
to keep the machines in the farm evenly loaded.
