My customer added Memory and a Hard Drive. They were self installed. In talking to the customer neither is being recognized. What are the commands that need to be run in order for the as400 to know they are there? Is there a special signon also. Do a WRKSHRPOOL to verify the new memory is recognized. Disk drives need to be added to the correct ASP. I don't know what version of the OS you're working with but the information can be found in Ch 19 of the "Backup and Recovery" guide: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/topic/books/sc415304.pdf Ron Hankey - CPIM Pete wrote: <SNIP>
