Josh, Depending on what you are trying to do may depend on the correct solution. At one of my client, they print different Packing Lists depending on the customer whose shipment is being processed (currently running 10 different versions). This function is completely without any input - file driven and we are using FormsPrint to generate the form "overlay". Here, we did not want the user to have to remember which document to print for each customer. At another client, they are printing (for one large customer) a different Invoice format (landscaped). For the Packing list, I used the UMBSHP3R user exit. If you want to add none standard documents (Export documentation, for example), you may want to use UMBSHPKR (you will have to check when this gets executed since I have never used this one). Josh, you can contact me offline if this is something you want to do... Eric Wolf

Has anyone done something like this? The best documentation I've found is in the COMEXITS text file in AMXLIB/UMBSRC, but it does not list some of the exits that are available from within COM (AMVB2DFR). Any thoughts? > >Thanks in advance > >Josh Diggs >Information Systems Manager >California Fine Wire >(805) 489-5144x236 > > > >_______________________________________________ >This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list >To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx >To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, >visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l >or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx >Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives >at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l. > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Talk now to your Hotmail contacts with Windows Live Messenger.
