Steve, We aren't doing stuff with commissions, but we do a lot of stuff with the COM user exits, with regards to manipulating orders (auto-substitutions, placing orders automatically for outsourced stuff, applying discounts based on order value for specific items, etc). We upgraded to CSM over a year ago, and had no problems - we tweaked the end of order user exits to perform the same functions as we had in the COM line item detail user exit. That's the key thing - you have to work with the order after it's in, rather than as it's entered. We have no problems at all. We already had it done as part of our COM_Net implementation. We distribute the sales reports to our remote sales force using Lotus Notes - we build the databases and pump the data to the Domino databases and Domino server using LEI (Lotus Enterprise Integrator). They can slice and dice it on-line with pre-determined views, or pull the data into Excel for their own uses. I've found it works great for us. Once it was set up, we didn't have to do ANYTHING to it anymore. Was providing Commission Reports to Sales Reps a problem and where those reports user friendly that sales reps could manipulate and analyze without additional IT resources?
