Isn't "business intelligence" and oxymoron? ;) We are using MS SQL Server, Analysis Services, and Proclarity for out data warehouse. Since we already owned the SQL server the only cost is for the client so it is very cost effective for us. It also allow us to tie together similar date from multiple data sources (like JDE, SAP, Manage 2000, etc.) We primarily using BI for sales and spend data today but are considering an extension into other process areas.
