Good afternoon:

We are implementing EPDM and during the trainings, I found out about a
critical field called NSLCIM: number of single level assembly components.
This field, along with others like: number of direct usages (NOPWU), or
low level code (LOLEV), might be incorrect for an item, if we do not run
the MAPICS File Reorganization task. We really need to not only get rid
of deleted records but also run the secondary MAPICS jobs that calculate
statistical data and other important tasks that will not run from any
other MAPICS option.

We want to automate the process. As a result, we want this job to run
whenever we IPL the system (Sundays at 4:00AM). We do have a shift that
starts on the afternoon and we want the system to be available at that
time. We do not want to affect production/shift so we need to have an
effective solution for this.

Is there a way that I can easily submit the reorganization from within my
system start up CL? Anybody that may want to share how you do it in your
shop?

Your advices are really appreciated as always.

Best regards,
