You could try creating a file from this query and then using the file to
create the report. You could then get the totals correct by selecting
out the last break level.

Subject: Re: [MAPICS-L] Query/400: How do
youremoveduplicaterecordinformation on a Report?

Hi Davis Unwin and Lucas Geheniau:

Thank you both for your replies (copied below).

I set the Quantity On Hand Field to have a Report Summary Function of
"Average."

The results are:

1. For the Item No. Sub-Total, this works fine and gives the correct
Quantity On Hand balance.

2. For the Report Totals, it creates a number for the Quantity On Hand
that is meaningless.

For now, I am manually correcting this number and I'll continue to do so
until another suggestion comes my way. :-)

Hi Al,

The only way you can get round this is to use the Average, Minimum or
Maximum summary function for the on hand column.

Kind regards,

David.

Hi Al,

If you want the on hand qty correct in the subtotals, choose min(or
max or
avg) at the summary functions for that column.

Kind regards

Lucas
