Actually, the PMC green screen transaction entry screens were designed
with this in mind. The important transaction fields have been placed in
the upper left for this purpose.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Wireless handheld devices used for Inventory
transactions

We are beginning to use wireless handheld devices (Symbol brand) for
data
collection.
The screens are 16 rows by 20 characters wide. It doesn't allow the full
green screen
to be displayed in Inventory transactions - (option 1 on menu AMIM30).

We are considering writing a program to create an offline file for using
these devices.

Is anyone else using these or similar devices? And if so, how are you
handling the screen
size for Mapics applications?

Thanks,
