Make-to-order and Knowledge Based Configurator experts: Is there a way to have a dynamic make to order in MAPICS where there are potentially an unlimited number of 'options', for example one sales order may consist of parts 'ABC' and the next order may be parts 'DEF' but both orders are the same end item? The closest function I have found is using an order quantity split type question loop in the KBC module, but when using this each quantity entered for an option item spawns a separate manufacturing order and we don't want that. Since each item could potentially have an unlimited number of "options" the features and options function isn't going to work (at least how I understand it). Second: If you link a manufacturing order to a customer order in COM, is there a way that the completion of the MO bubbles back up to the CO without the user having to manually check to see if the manufacturing order is at status 50/55? Thanks, -Jimmy
