Lisa, we just went to R7 and I honestly don't know what type of iSeries we have...but we have seen performance issues...more on the client side...depending on how robust the pc is, some users have really had to wait quite a while for their PowerLink screens to launch and fully load. (We are currently not using SytemLink or NetLink). We are working with infor to see if there's something we can reconfigure to get better performance. The install of the client at upgrade time was quite a challenge too. I don't have the details, but I know our team dedicated to that effort spent lots of time to get the client pushed out to our users so that they didn't all "pull" it from the server at the same time on the first day (knowing that would really bring things to a crawl.) If you want to talk to some folks on our staff who were more closely involved, just let me know. Hope this helps, Bonnie Cameron Project Mgr, I.S. We did a stress test last Friday and brought things to a halt. I had 26 users in PowerLink, not using System-Link or Net-Link, around 25 other users in green screen and around 50 users using Release 6. Our PowerLink sessions are taking almost 2 minutes to start-up. Any one seeing similar response times?
