Hello List,

My SOX auditors are back again and are "suggesting" I change the Audit
level setting to include *AUTFAIL and *PGMFAIL.

I did have *AUTFAIL on for a while but it logged a ridiculous number of
failures. My impression is that every time a MAPICS user tries to do
anything the operating system says that they do not have authority and
logs it. Then adoptive authority for AMAPICS kicks in and lets the user
proceed.

Does anyone know if that is correct?

Does anyone do anything with the *AUTFAIL events from a MAPICS system?

I don't know about *PGMFAIL - must do some research unless someone has
info to offer on that.

Thanks,
Greg
