Jimmy, The UJOBS are designed to monitor for 'Controlled' shutdowns. If you used the *CNTRLD option when ending a job/subsystem or IPL'ing the system, the UJOBs are written to monitor for this condition and shut down automatically. If you are using this option and allow for sufficient time for the UJOBS to shutdown (60 seconds is suggested), the no additional coding should be necessary. As far as startup is concerned the UJOBS should start automatically when the first event/menu option occurs that needs the UJOB to be started. We are trying to automate our weekend save/IPL without having to manually shutdown the UJOBs and subsequently start them back up from the QSTRUP program. -Jimmy _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
