We have been fortunate in recent months to have an increased number of Mapics users as a result of system consolidation. Unfortunately we have also see some of the draw backs of an increased number of users in the volume of job conflicts. In particular this has been a problem with jobs conflicting with PO entry, in particular we are seeing MO release issue. Are there any improvements in 6 or 7 that will minimize the conflicts between the different modules? Any procedural recommendations anybody can make? We are running a single production environment with two companies and three production sites, up from one company and one sites. Each has their own purchasing and production planning staff and daily work seems to conflict.
