Ron and Greg,

Thank you for your help.  I am trying to call a java program from within my own 
RPG which is defined as the program responsible for user defined transactions 
in PM&C.  I just need the RPG program to be capable of recieving the correct 
parameter, pass it to java, and return it back to the calling Mapics program.

We currently have programs that use the RPG->CL->Java approach, but I thought 
it might be cleaner if I could figure out some of this jni stuff.
