Atul,

If I understand your statement correctly, you know how to export data from 
MAPICS to Excel, so your problem is in exporting IMHIST file.
You can not export the complete file of IMHIST, this is because there is a 
field in IMHIST called TKEN(Token), which is not understood by Excel. So, 
you need to create a simple query using IMHIST after excluding the TKEN 
field, and output into a temporary file and then down load the temporary 
file into Excel.
You can use either 'Data Transfer from iSeries'  tool or Excel Add-Ins 
'Client Access Data Transfer'.

INVENTORY HISTORY FILES EXPORT TO EXCEL






Is there any way to export Inventory transaction
history files from mapics to excel?.I have exported
the imhist and itembal files out but not been able to
export the inv trans hist for a partcular components. 
i want to push these files into a Foxpro database.
Uptil now i am exporting them from the mapics browser
to excel, this is not effecient while dealing with
many components, i hope to automate this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
