Mary Ann:

Is it an issue of telling the order entry person the goods need to ship
within 24 hours so they can enter tomorrow's date as the ship date?

Does the item in question always need to ship within 24 hours or is it just
some of the times?

Have you considered putting the immediate shipment notification in front of
the fulfillment department rather than "tickling" the order entry person?

What happens if the items needs to ship but the inventory is not there? How
does Laitram prioritize production so the item in inventory when the
fulfillment department does their "pick and pack" thing?

Subject: Is there anyway to tigger an item to be a part that must shipwithin
24 hours?

We have some parts that we want to ship within 24 hours. Is there anyway
to flag these parts to notify the person entering the order to know that
this part my be shipped immediately?
