You can configure COM to perform an automatic available to promise.  If the
part is available within 24 hours it will set the promise date to no later
than the next day.

You can execute "stock pick" option when you print pick lists.  If the item
is available, the pick will print.  If the item is not available, it will
not print.

to flag these parts to notify the person entering the order to know that 
this part my be shipped immediately?
