RE: MAPICS - QSECURITY level 40

I can't help with the earlier releases but I've been running XAR6 at level
40 since 01/10/2004.  I started running the audit journal 03/28/2003 and
watched it over an extended period of time.  I sent a PMR to IBM prior to
making the change and according to them moving to 40 does not make a
permanent change.  If you run into problems you can move back to 30 and
re-IPL.

The no-wait response web site says that MAPICS must run at QSECURITY level
30 unless you are at XA release 5.5 or higher.


Does anyone have info that is different from that?

Our Sarbanes-Oxley auditors would like us to move to 40 but it does not
look
like we can.
