Have you looked at Paperless? We use the RF support with this module and
have source so we have been able to do some pretty creative things with
some Intermec RF laser scanners. They actually run 5250 emulation so
they are running interactive RPG applications. We have found it to be a
simple, inexpensive, and flexible solution.

I am looking for an improved way to receive goods against Purchase
Orders.

 

I contacted my Mapics Affiliate and Mapics and it was suggested that I
purchase the Mapics Material Management Application.

 

I seem to recall that there was a Mapics Affiliate who developed an add
on module for receiving goods against a purchase order quickly and if I
am not mistaken it was called Quick Receiver from Midrange.

 

Does this software still exist, has anyone recently purchased this
software, is it still supported etc....

 

Does anyone know of other alternatives?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

PS. I did send an email to Midrange 3 days ago and have not received any
response.
