Unless I am mistaken, the sample trigger program and user exits both are 
capable of writing maintenance history.  The comments in the programs should 
give you samples of what you need to do.  If not, contact me off-line and I 
will try to help you.

   Mike,

   Experiences like yours using the sample user exits at R6 and=arlier is
   the the main reason we now create the user exit programs in R7    Integrator 
for you.  In R6 you had to modify the user exits to tell th=m
   about your files and fields.  R7 Integrator knows how to put alot o=
    info in the user exits for you.  Also, you are correct, the tr=nsaction
   model used by the client applications is different than most prog=ammers
   are accustom to working with.

    =   I have done it.   It was no easy job.  =e are creating a custom

   Integrator.  The
   &nbs=;    sample programs you get from MAPICS have bugs i= them (or

   Paragon for
     &nb=p;  assistance.  They helped me alot.  I learned alo= about the
   Integrator
     &n=sp;  programming approach and how to get the stuff to work pro   perly.

urse expected
      &nbsp= to and did pay them for the help).  Even though we shouldn't    
have to pay
       <=span> to fix MAPICS bugs, sometimes you gotta cut your losses and

        b=ttle isn't worth fighting.  I wanted the application to work and
   was<=R>     willi=g to spned money to get there.

    &nb=p;   Now we're slowing working on the application.  =t's internal
   at the
     &nbs=;  moment, so no revenue incentive to work hard on it.  B=t the
   concept is
      &=bsp; superb.  I hope INFOR has the good sense to FINALLY sprea=
