Here I go getting frustrated again ;-) .

I need to run several MAPICS reports on a regular basis. Specifically, this
time I want to run a series of Inventory Status Reports (AMI2B) each with a
specific Item Class range. I want to automate this so I don't have to go
thru several screens and tab thru several options for each and every report.
It is so redundant it is easy to fall asleep and make a mistake.

I only have a basic knowledge of AS/400 inner workings, so I don't know
things like how to copy the LDA, but I can program in CL or RPG. Is there
anywhere I can go or anyone who can help with basic step-by-step
instructions about how to setup a CL program to run a MAPICS program?

I have been here before and will probably be back again until I get it
figured out. (grrrrr) I have just never been able to get all the pieces
together. I have even solicited my affiliate to do this, and expect some
kind of answer soon, but thought I would try this trek up the mountain to
find the Guru-Of-Batch.

Why is it so difficult for MAPICS to respond to the age old SIMPLE request
to call a report program with parameters? I know many people have asked, and
many people smarter than me have done it.

Regards,
Bob Randall
