Systemlink only available in R7. Don't know R6 very well but remember there was 
a product called EZ-Link similar to System link. There are also offline load 
options, where you load your outside data into certain files, and run a mapics 
option to import data to Mapics DB.
By the way, R6 client is not java, it was developed in small talk.
