Our users are restricted from entering commands on the command line, but the
MAPICS apps (i.e. IM, COM, PUR) still work for them)

Subject: MAPICS - command line access

Hello list,

I'd like to know your thoughts about letting MAPICS users use the command
line. Our people like to be able to change apps by typing the 2 or 3
letter code. But from the command line they can do lots of other things
which would cause an auditor to get excited.

Any suggestions on how to minimize risk here?

Greg
