Subject: RE: MAPICS - need info on the AMAPICS user profile

Greg,

We use authorization lists (with only *use authority to MAPICS files) for
query users. A list for payroll, financials, and "all other" files. All
MAPICS files are public *exclude until we change them to use the
authorization lists. As we change files to use an authority list, we also
key them into a CL program so when we do MAPICS upgrades, we can run the CL
to change the files to use the proper authorization list. The MAPICS
libraries should only have *use authority for public as well. You don't
want a query user to save their files or queries in the AMFLIBx!

The MAPICS no wait response says the AMAPICS user should have SPLCTL JOBCTL
and SAVSYS and the user class should be *PGMR.
