IM Batch Jobs

I have found similar discussions in the archives, but I am not finding the
answer I need. We run many inventory status reports at month end. Everyone
needs their own particular version. But the runs are the same every month
end, and sometimes mistakes are made when we enter so many.

I have held the batch job and can duplicate the JOBACT record. I also create
the same data in a declared variable called &LDA in a CL program, then "CALL
PGM(AXZPSJ) PARM(&LDA 'AMIPCB')". I can't seem to get the thing to run
though. I feel I am missing something very simple. Does anyone have any
experience or advice with this? 

<rant> It is very frustrating that MAPICS does not offer more help in this
area. I just get the same old line, "MAPICS doesn't support this", but I
know other people are interested in similar tasks. I am just one who hasn't
figured out how to do it on my own, yet. </rant>
