Way back in release 4, a customer of ours had a scheduled job which ran a number of MAPICS functions each night. One of those was invoicing. I also used the source for the MAPICS invoice prompt program. Basically, what I did was comment out any lines of code referring to the display file and filled the display file fields appropriately via the program instead getting the values from the user. -- Regards, Penny Lancor Technical Services TechKnowledge Partners, LLC 224.715.3967 -------------- Original message -------------- > yes, we have > > we have a scheduled job that runs M-F every night at 10:00pm > it calls a revised version of the MAPICS program AMBFSPVR > > unfortunately, the contractor that revised the program did not leave any > annotations in the code, so I cannot tell you specifically what needs to be > changed. but AMBFSPVR is the MAPICS program, and it is a straight call with > no parameters and no messing around with the LDA. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Chris Neely [mailto:Chris.Neely@xxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 12:50 PM > To: mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: COM Invoicing run > > Has anyone automated the COM invoicing run? > > Thanks for any assistance. > _______________________________________________ > This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l > or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l. >
