Scrap only the molded part from the order with the MAPICS scrap to MO function. Then the necessary data input to reduce the total order qty would have to be done. If you scrap to MO the plastic part, and run the entire MO, the backflush for used components will be correct and the order will show the financial scrap and be saved in history. Are the other components worth a great deal or are u running 1000's per day and backflushing, from a single bulk location. Another option is to create an item type "O" part number assy at the point you encounter most scrap, and scrap that phantom without the extra parts. Dennis Guy Vaillant
