We have had the same issues with most items that have set up or run scrap issues. If you are backflushing from a MAPICS bulk location such as "WIP", here are some things we have done: Use the material roll on as many job as you can and determine the qty variance to the amount produced. Then we would prorate the difference to the qty of each RM qty. Then we would do an IP for the prorated part of the 2K to each MO and thus apply to the order and history the variance for each job. You can even prorate a portion of the @K to the unfinished job. It is a few extra transactions if you have the time, but you can get history on jobs and use PDM to calculate yield factors and help planning, purchasing and finance in the future. Many more examples. If you want to chat about it more, email me direct and we can get in touch. Dennis
