Howdy Pete,
What you want to do is copy/paste the code into a .txt file, then either FTP
the source up to the iSeries or use Client Access (iSeries Access) to
transfer the file. You want to already have a source file in a library
(this makes it much easier to load the source member into the source file).
If you use FTP, the source type and description will be missing and you can
just specify RPG or RPGLE, which ever the type will be. When using FTP, log
in to the iSeries, and then "put" the file up to the source member. Your
"put" statement would be something like this...

put c:\directory\program.txt Library/File.member

Good Luck.

Subject: text to a rpg src pgm

Howdy group

What I am trying to do is take a program that is listed on a web site, and
create an as400 rpgle pgm.. I would like not to have to copy and paste 16
lines at a time into my source pgm. Is there a way to create a word doc.,
txt or whatever and then upload to 400 and turn into a source pgm? Any
thoughts

TIA
Pete
