Price changes make comments if the tailoring question is set to "Y". We have issues regarding Unit prices are being changes of Purchase orders already raised and send to vendors. In Mapics we have two ways to look the changes on PO a) Through Purchase Order Activity : Using this we can see the quantity changes and date changes applied on Purchase order since it raised but no unit price changes is being tracked. It is being logged for the changes made through green screen as well as Mapics browser. b) PO changes from Mapics browser : It keeps log for every single change on PO provided changes has been made through Browser only. So If we change unit price from green screen we do not have any Mapics Log for the same. Can any body in the list has any clue if MAPICS can do this ? Also if we put a trigger on purchase order file it would definitely serve the purpose but un necessarily slow the system. Any other ideas on this ?
