RE: Clearing Licensed Users

Vince:

I ran the program & did not get any errors, but not sure it did anything
either.  If I do a work licensed info & select MAPICS XA Registered using
option 8, I see users who are not currently logged into MAPICS, should this
program remove them from this listing or does this do something different?

We run the following program from MAPICS that cleans up the abend records
and releases MAPICS license that are not being used
that were left hanging.  We have this in our job scheduler and run it every
hour. CALL PGM(AMZCPU6R).

Can anyone please help

Our licenceing is done on a  named users basis ie when we have the full
quota of named users registerd then no-one else can log in.
However, we have a large turnover of Temporary staff and when they leave we
then need to clear out the users licence.
This is a pain in the rear end as it is done manually.

Is there any way that this can be done automatically through Mapics/Via A
Mapics API ????
