Hi Jules As you know we use release 6 in a terminal server environment and I share you're worries for release 7 in a terminals server environment. It's my understanding that the Relase7 Java architecture needs a lot of memory. As we are also planning to move to release 7 together with a new AS400 I'm courageous about this. Hopefully there are some other users who have already some experience with this. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jules Bloemsaat" <bloemsaat@xxxxxxxxx> To: <MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 05, 2004 9:28 AM Subject: Release 7 on Microsoft terminal server > Hi group: > > Is there anybody who has any experience with Powerlink on Microsoft terminal > server ? -Does it work ? -Performs it ? -Is there anything I had to think > off ? > > I know that release 6 worked well via terminal server. > But I have the impression Java ask a lot more from the terminal server. > > > Thanks in advance > > > Jules Bloemsaat > Axias BV > > > _______________________________________________ > This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l > or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l. > > **************************************** > This email has been scanned for viruses. > Timesavers (Sandingmaster/Grindingmaster) > Quality & Value Without Compromise > **************************************** > **************************************** This email has been scanned for viruses.
